Social Ditto

If you ever want to post a snippet of a Twitter, Facebook, or Google+ status update, you can use Social Ditto to do that for you in an instant.

Simply click on the icon that corresponds to the social media site you’d like to embed.

I clicked on Twitter to get the appropriate fill-in field, then I went to Twitter.com and logged in to my account.

In the far right-hand corner of the Twitter feed you will see a number with an ‘m’ or ‘h’ beside it. That’s the time stamp. Click on that to expand the feed. In the address bar you will see the link to that particular feed. Copy and paste into Social Ditto. It will generate an embed code that you simply copy and paste into your website.

Here is the result:

Stepping away from social media for the evening… Much gratitude for the awesome mentions, RTs, follows today! Sweet & abundant dreams 2U!

Twitter also has its own embed code. And this is the result from Twitter’s own embed feature:

Not quite as visual as Social Ditto’s embed code!

And here is the result of the Facebook embed code:

Connie Bella

Not only is the result visual, you can also click to follow the featured status update!
